Pays d’Aixcalade – Aix-en-Provence climbing school

Climbing club in Aix-en-Provence affiliated to the FFME

Pays d’Aixcalade is a non-profit sports association offering climbing courses in Aix-en-Provence created in 2014. Our aim is to promote mountain, climbing and vertical activities.

We are affiliated to the French Federation of Mounting and Climbing: FFME. Therefore, anyone wishing to join the club must take out a FFME licence and insurance.

We also respect the republican commitment contract of the associations as well as the charter of reciprocal commitment between the State, the associative movement and the local authorities.

We offer climbing courses in Aix-en-Provence for adults and children from 6 years old. We are proud to have about 75 members today, from 6 to 61 years old.

Cournand

Indoor climbing courses

Indoor climbing classes take place on the climbing wall of Cournand Gymnasium.  Courses range from beginner to advanced level. Our goal is not competition but simply to have fun and learn to practice this sport safely.

Cliff climbing course

We also organize once a month cliff outings in our beautiful region. We do not ask for a minimum level and they are open to everyone. Even if you are not a member of our club.
